What kind of pump is it?

Not sure, I'll open it up and check. I'm guessing the original what ever that was. I don't use it very often but it is nice to have some days!

That appears to be a pumptec pump. You can order directly directly from pumptec. You will need a new can as well. The model number should be on the face of the pump. Before replacing, make sure it's not just the pressure regulator.

It's hard to find one machine to do everything well. If you're doing a lot of tile, consider the rotovac ranger 1200 psi. You will have 3 power cords and need somewhere for the apo to go. Otherwise I would recommend a tile specific machine with 2-2stage vac motors and something with 2-3stage vac motors in parallel and 500 psi like the Mytee speedster. Don't buy a heated portable. Tile cleaning really needs a large capacity machine or an apo. I am using an old ninja with a 1200 psi pump mounted on top. Works great except for having to dump every 5 minutes.
It's a good machine but I think that may be an older model. Check out the 1005lx. More vac power, same size. These are heavy machines designed for buildings with elevators. Need 1 20 amp circuit and 1 15 amp circuit. Powerful, easy to use machine.
