Why is the finished product lighter than the color on the bag?
Should have been dark brown but it's nearly white.

Is because the floor contrast probably. If you had white tiles it would probably look light brown.

But its not supposed to look light brown. It wasn't light brown when we applied it, it looked like the color on the bag.
It dried nearly white.
This is a kitchen area in my basement, not a customer.
