Which one of you Jr Chemists want to figure out what it is, and how will it effect us Janitors?

Deciphering actually chemical make up from marketing language is akin to learning Urdu on the fly.

It SEEMS that they are speaking of the chemistry used in the "cides" (not biocides, but Hydrocides, Odorcides, Saigercides, etc).

That technology works on odors coming from a relatively "clean" surface, not one "crusty" with residues. It also only works on contact, so without it reaching deep into the textile construction, padding, or subfloor, it is useless.

Let me ammend my above statement, but only slightly:

Oxidizers also only work on contact.

A high volume of an oxidizing solution can break up urine residues (See also: OSR, Pet Zone, etc), but spritzing this on won't do anything for that.

Thanks Fred!
