Jim, I used to think so also, however those break much to easily with a heavy door or a gust of wind. I used them for 4 years and made the switch, now I only have to replace them when we leave them behind.

Wedge-It's rule!! I still have one we bought 8 years ago when they first came out. I have never had one break. I did however crack a hollow core door with one once.
