This week I have been cleaning some 3 story low rise apartment building hallways and stairs. My go to wand is my pmf mach 12, which is a 12 inch head and 1.5 inch tube. Titanium. Yesterday I want to try an aw29 because I could clean the stairs without switching to a stair tool. What a difference in performance. Where the Mach 12 wants to lock down on the carpet, even at a 275 foot hose run, the aw 29 just feels pathetic in comparison. I use aw29 wands a lot but on a long hose run, a premium wand will give you premium performance.

How does your 12 devastator feel????
I don't have one but I may be ordering one. I've tried them out and have been impressed even with a long hose run. The swivel is a bonus.

Yeah I'm not using the word "pathetic"between the two and mostly I just chalk it up to the AW being four flow and my sapphire being six flow

Both of mine are 6 flow. The difference is in the airflow. At 100 feet, no real difference. At 250 or more feet, the difference is obvious.
So you're saying one sucks more?

The Mach 12 2” is amazing, but the SS12 is very close and doesn’t feel like I’m holding a tree trunk.

That said, I don’t use wands much anymore since getting my lovely Odyssey and my customers are thankful.

Real cleaners run 2.5" to the wand.

Yeah, but you pad hacks leave 9
Anyone who believes that should put a half oz of filthy water in a tray along with a quarter oz of diluted encap. Particularly PCP (loaded with polymer).

Let me know what they see the next day.
