Does he have 3 phase power?
Some rug guy's use a #33-36 blower.. Basically a vacuum skid that has a blower, electric motor and silencer mounted on a table.. Then to a small waste tank..
A 56 blower will suck some juice to turn..

At 440 volts it will take about 40 amps.

You could gear it down, (turn the blower slower). Bigger pulley on the blower, smaller on the motor. Wouldn't require as much power.
