A friend of mine owns a rug shop. I have an extra 56 blower, has anyone ever powered a blower that big with an electric motor? It would be awesome if we could rig that thing for him.

In theory, you need 25-30 horsepower to power it. You will need to figure out what voltage and amperage is necessary to achieve that.

At 440 volts it will take about 40 amps.

You could gear it down, (turn the blower slower). Bigger pulley on the blower, smaller on the motor. Wouldn't require as much power.
