Sometimes portables suck

I do a lot of work with portables. First job this morning is 3 easy chairs and an empty suite in an apartment building. No problem, that's what portables are designed for. Next job, 2 story townhouse that cannot be accessed with a TM. Have to bring in 50 feet of truck mount hose, real pita. Next job, 2 rooms in a high-rise condo but the parking space is just below the staircase. Have to hump the machine up the steps, then roll down the hallway to the suite. ******* brilliant people who design these highrises. If I had a full size van, I wouldn't fit and would have told to call someone else. But I'm back at the shop now drinking a cold beer and pissing off people on mb. All is good.
